PopSticks is a tasty four-piece '60s vintage Slingerland maple set, complete with Radio King snare. It has a natural played-in tone, with enough clarity to work in a contemporary mix, or it'll go retro if that's where you need to go. Close mic and room mic options give plenty of scope to fine tune the ambient balance. Tracked through a '74 Neve desk onto a nice thick roll of tape.
